Automation Engineer
As an automation engineer, you will be an important part of GELITA's continued efforts to maintain a reliable production facility and to drive the continued work of automating our processes in dialog with our process engineers.
You work long-term in project form where different stakeholders are coordinated for a successful implementation once the implementation takes place.

Your responsiblities
- Systematically work with the modernization of control and regulation of existing machinery, which involves close cooperation with machine suppliers.
- Mapping and developing a long-term modernization plan for GELITA's further automation.
- in close cooperation with the electrical department.
- Develop design documentation for controls and field instrumentation in project form under the direction of our project managers. You lead the discipline area in the projects.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for the field of automation.
- Preparation of technical reports, cost estimates, inquiries, tender evaluations.
- Monitoring the field of automation in the process industry to suggest new projects to further improve the efficiency of the business.
Your profile
- Documented experience in control technology in the process industry.
- Previous experience in project management.
- Broad technical knowledge (more desirable than in-depth knowledge of specific technologies).
- Experience with ELPROCAD is advantageous.
- Knowledge of the process industry with a high degree of automation, which has given you an understanding of how process control works, is an advantage.Experience of Cactus Scada and PLC programming in Mitsubishi and Siemens is meritorious.
- Experience of industrial bus communication is meritorious.
- YH education to automation engineer or other technical education that we consider equivalent.
